Carmel, knowing you since 1977 as a boarder at St Joes, initially a quiet little mouse soon to find your cheekiness, dry sense of humour and naughtiness (as the Nuns thought). To making apple pie beds, putting hairbrushes covered in shampoo in our friends beds for a laugh & taking one for the team. Will miss our meet ups and giggles. You were an inspiration to me, your resilience second to none. Sleep well Carmel. Xxxxx
My heart broke the day I heard the sad news of your leaving us Carmel. You have been so strong and determined ever since I met you 8 years ago. The last 2 years you have been so inspirational, showing just how strong you really were and I will never forget you my lovely, kind and very witty friend. Fly high Carmel and rest in peace. All our love Colette and Neil xxxxx
Raised for the event: Funeral & Celebration of Carmel's LifeCarmel was someone I was very fond of she went out of her way to help others and she had an aura that warmed any room, it was an absolute pleasure to have got to know her and her eternal light will continue to shine brightly 💛
Raised for the event: Funeral & Celebration of Carmel's LifeAn honour to call you my friend. Will never forget you and particularly your generosity of time and patience with my many questions and fears prior to my surgery in June when you were so poorly yourself - scar twins :)
